pads... im starting to hear squeaking noise from my breaks..and i want to change the pads pretty soon.. i have an 05 sti w/ stock brembo breaks..

what are some good pads that dont put out a lot of dust (unlike brembo)...i recall somebody telling me to get hawks..

do i just pick up any hawk pads for the 05 sti, will it fit?...i dont know the measures n stuff...

lol..i've never worked with brembo before..so..its a first.

First brake pad change should be covered under the Warranty if you are cool with sticking with the stock pads.

Hawks are probably the worst for dust, but one of the highest grip levels. You have to buy brake pads under your car classification category. Since Brembos are stock, the sales company you buy from will know that and when you select brake pads 05' STi, they will fit. I use the EBC Greenstuff, they are good for grip levels and aren't the worst with the dust. The Hawk HP's aren't as bad as the HP+'s. Anytime you go to an ceramic/kevlar type pad the dust should be reduced, but its all about what you want. No dust, stick with stock, more grip then upgrade the pad and deal with dirty wheels.
