Great Hp/ weight ratio. 274HP/ ~3200pounds. Twin scroll turbo with one piece cast manifold/turbo housin (how brilliant is that!) Yes it's a slushbox, yes it's FWD, the exterior is OK, but it has a nice interior, build quality is extremely good, it has a 100K drivetrain warranty AND it gets 34MPG HWY? I am lucky to get 24mpg in my 2002 WRX. I commute 25K miles per year (almost all on I-285/I-85). Oh and it will go out the door at probably $25K with TTL...

P.S. Anybody wanna buy a 2002 WRX Wagon w/ 180K milesheap? $5K? Never any engine mods, Group N mounts w/ JDM V7 STI wagon take-offs, Greddy Evo 2 catback, Kartboy shifter/bushings. Exterior has a few dings/scrapes, one bad sc. Maybe a perfect rally car??? LOL. 5 speed is making some noise (i think maybe front diff is toast- but car shifts great).

How much would you sell those shocks for? Or possibly cash + stockers?

    GTScoob:
sorry- no interest in parting- it might be one of the only things that will help sell the car.
    :)

Don't think I am not thinking the same thing...however I am not finding any 200+ HP cars with 30+ mpg and a 100K mile warranty. And can fit a car seat in the rear. Being a dad is a great thing, just not so much for making new auto purchases. Still considering a Genesis 2.0T but the car seat criteria is iffy at best. I need cheap, reliable transportation with a good warranty to control my out of pocket expenses. All of life is about compromises.... SIGH.

10 years ago I would never even look at a Hyundai. Boy have times changed. That is a very impressive car for the money. My friend got a 4 door Genesis and that has got to be one of the nicest cars I ahve been in for the price he paid for it. I was truly amazed.

Hey hey hey... Lol. That's the year that I currently own, but not currently driving.
Hyundai is fairly reliable. Mine's been working for these past 10 years.
But the difference between now and then is amazing.
