sorry to hear about your accident... hope you weren't hurt

i buy most of my parts through either subaru of gwinnett or sakari motorsports... both are local and supporting vendors on our site... i request that you give them first preference when you are looking for parts....

another vendor i have bought parts from when both sakari and SOG doesn't have them is www.gruppe-s.com

Id say check out gruppe-s, Sakari, SOGPD (for more Subaru OEM related goods), and some of the better vendors on IWSTi.

I would stay away from the cheaper non-OEM bodywork insurance companies push you towards. Stick to OEM or go all out carbon-fiber happiness. :)

thanks guys! ya i wasnt hurt but my baby sure was....i have pictures on my myspace...ill post some on here. but ya im just going to get an OEM CF hood and then id like to find some headlights that are completely black and have no ambers...ive seen them on an sti before and the guy didnt do them himself...i forget where he got them. but ya atleast now my car will look new again!! and thank god its not totalled! about $6 worth damage...and are far as the engine...the impact didnt go beyond the radiator which is good...just that a few belts, fuses, new battery, fan, and a few other lil things...so hopefully ill have my car back in less than 2 1/2 weeks.....for gods sake im driving a kia sportage rental car right now!!!! ahhhhhhh heheh

but ya would anyone suggest any certain headlights? those were the most expensive so they gave me $1k to replace them

the guys were pretty much just like the stock 05-06 headllamps but there was no amber...but it was all black inside. damnit i wish i remembered what site i saw them on.

oh also as far as foglights go....i have to get a new bumper so i was just going to get a new bumper and get foglights....but if i get the CF hood i think im going to get CF brake ducts in the front instead.....what do you guys think?

It is a fairly straightforward process, however, if you're not comfortable with it I can hook ya up through 10th. Regarding a CF hood, what's the point? The stock hood is alum, lightweight and strong. That's more than I can say for some of these hoods Ive seen lately. See if you can pick up a front lip out of the deal (ravspec knockoffs, v-limited, etc).

Other things you could consider: lightweight battery, jdm bumper beam (20-30lbs lighter than USDM), lighter subframe, h-brace, pillarless grill (another 10th option), foglamp intake / brake ducts (ChargeSpeed & Beatrush as well as a few other companies make these).

Anyways, there are tons of things you can do with front. If you want to buy amberless headlamps, you need to find a connection on the JDM Sti headlamps. They're amberless from the factory, if you want to buy them go for it ;)

    Good luck!

yeah, watch out for some CF hoods, one i saw recently weighed more than the stock aluminum hood

ya well insurance is buying me the CF hood. so who cares! plus i got the CF Beatrush brake ducts coming in and i think it will look good together...

as for those Morette headlights....i think they would look good on my car since its black...but they are kinda weird looking...one of those things you either do or you dont like. but i must say i dont think ive seen an sti around here with them....so they might look good. how much do they go for ?

well, it was actually fiberglass with a CF overlay, it was real pretty but not worth it imo.
