I started a project for myself i want to wire a component with two switches (manual and auto) Its a water sprayer I have all the parts and just want to know if im wiring this correctly Currently i have it wired to trigger with a pressure switch variable set (as a pressure activated solenoid) IGN source +ve ____ FUSE _____ Switch ____ COM Pressure Switch N.O Press Switch ___ Pump (+ve) Pump (-ve) ___ ground/chassis for second switch ill connect between N.O and COM of pressure switch I want to add a manual switch to this system. So do i parallel (tap into like jump the pressure trigger) with a manual momentarily switch ????
http://www.projectwrx.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=15 Since your car is a wagon all you have to do is reroute the second washer motor to spray water onto the IC instead of the rear windshield. Sedans will just have to get a wagon washer bottle if they dont want to have to tap into the plastic. As far as wiring a switch, there are a couple of wires that give positive voltage at WOT if you want it to spray at WOT, otherwise wire a up toggle switch ordinarily.
you cant do that easily ^^^^ if you use that your rear wiper will turn on dry and scratch your glass if its sandy and dusty which is normally ANd besides my rear sprayer is half pointed to the air to spit on tailgaiters
Sounds good to me! That way you would have an "arming" switch w/ auto or manual operation. Very similar to my nitrous wiring, but not on the W.
