How can I tell what model year these are from? I picked these up from someone here on the forum, but I honestly can't remember from whom, sorry! If you are him, what model year wrx do you have?

take the pads out. take pics of the pad plate (aka NOT the pad material side).

otherwise they'll fit anything from 1989 legacy/1992 impreza to 2008 anything....and anything in between including Leone's with 5 lug swaps.

    OK, pic below:
I know it will fit, I just need to know if it is 02/03 or 04/05 wrx. Someone on the national forum may want to buy these, so I don't want to tell him they are for an 04 when they aren't

Now we need to know if its the H-6 or non H-6 bracket. Most likely its not an H-6 bracket so it would fit anything that has non H-6 rear brakes.

Ah, so it NOT from an 04-05 wrx?

I mean to say: I know it will fit to this guys's car if he bolts it up, sure. However, he doesn't want to go from the pad size of 04 wrx to the smaller size of the 02/03 wrx.

You and I know that we can make things fit; Subaru's are the Mr. Potato Heads of cars!

    Thanks Will!

Pad SIZE is undifferent. Its the PLATE the pad is glued to.

I remember when I was trying to get pads for my 03 WRX and they kept on trying to give me pads that looked like those with the larger ears on it and my pads had the smaller ears and they wouldn't fit....So weird they switched it up randomly between 02-03.

So, in effect, there is ZERO difference in braking power between 02/03 and 04/05 wrx rear disc brakes?
