Impreza question...

    other than cosmetic things... imprezas for the last 10 years are mostly interchangeable mechanically, right?

    like a 93 can take some 04 sti parts?

    Kind of, there are a significant number of parts that won't fit or need to modified though. What did you have in mind?

    Suspension, brakes, and seats you are generally ok on. Drivetrain stuff not so much.

    I would say that generally, they are not interchangeable. Sure some things can fit, but for the most part, there are small differences from gen to gen.

    Like with a '93, very few STi parts would fit well. Perhaps they would fit, but it wouldn't be the best option.

    yeah, i understand about the body cosmetics, and the interior cosmetics.

    And i understand about each block, 1.8, 2.0, 2.5, but within that is what I mean. Like same displacement engines, or suspension components (brakes, wheels)
