I did a search and didn't find anything like this posted up yet. This is for the people with car-puters or laptops that do not have serial interfaces so they can hook up to the ODB2 port in their suby (which uses ISO9141 i think, which this supports). http://www.hackaday.com/2007/11/07/inexpensive-pic-based-obd-2-interface/ He even lists the programs like scantool that will work with his board. Even with USB to serial adapters at $15 and often times 25 or 30, this could help a few folks out. If not, it's cool to read about.
I have no idea what this will do, but I have OBD2. Explain to me why I need this and I will happily shell out the money
It is still useful for a non-turbo car since you can keep an eye on the car, troubleshoot, etc. I just posted it up since they charge a fortune for cables, adapters, etc for ODB2 (to serial) to usb.
