I just got in my new rc engineering 750 injectors and fuel pump. Im planning on getting a 20g soon and am wondering if it would hurt anything to put the injectors and fuel pump in like a week before the turbo. Would it be safe to drive? Im running like 20 pounds with the stock turbo right now.. any help would be appreciated
thats too far apart between stock and new inj to run with no tune if you run OS then its easy for you to change the inj and latency
just wait until you install the turbo, it adds a little extra time, but you can get a limp map from whoever's going to tune it to get you around on your new setup until you get it protuned.
Did you not read above? I doubt your car will even crank. ask your tuner for a limp map to get you by for a week and DO NOT DRIVE IT HARD until you get it tuned.
if you change any part of the air or the fuel then you need a tune and you are changing both and boosting very differently - Dont you think you need a tune ? Sorry to sound harsh but if you dont think it needs to be tuned(for what you are adding) then you should remain OTS StgII and call it a day
Get it tuned! I delayed just a week or so and blew a ringland. or two lol. Mods were tbe, header, intake and no tune...thats all it took
I do not think you would go wrong with any of the tuners on this board. All three are more than capable. But please do get a limp map from whoever you decide upon before installing those injectors. That is a 78% increase in the size of your injectors. The stock ECU is not going to be able to compensate for that.
I'm convinced...see you in two weeks But seriously, I'll call you this week, I need to set something up...
Or you could look at this thread http://www.wrxatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23335 Like I said, I don't think you could go wrong with any of us on here.
