    Hey guys,

My invidia downpipe and cobb sf airbox got here today, gaskets will be here on wednesday, and picking up a turbo blanket on wednesday. :wiggle:

Would anyone be willing to help me out installing the downpipe?

I live in midtown, so I really don't have a way to lift my car. (Park on the street) I'd be willing to throw someone a couple of bucks for the help, and definitely a few beers.

If not I'll probably just take it to allpro to get it done, but I would rather be there to help with the install.

    I thought I might ask.

Edit: Looking to do this Thursday night or over the weekend.

Can't go wrong with allpro. You could be in and out within two hours tops.

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you on this I had to get my time frame down for you as well. I can do it friday night after 6. I could do the down pipe and have you out before we fully close. Everything else like the air box could be installed in a garage. Down pipe should only take about 30-45 mins hopefully after it's cooled down a little bit. Either that or I put on my heavy duty gloves and yank it off sooner.

Thanks for update man. But damn Friday night is the only time I can't do it.:|

Any possibility for Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday?

I couldn't have allpro do it until the 19th :wtc:

Would anyone else be willing to lend a helping hand if outbacksprt can't do it another time? I may go crazy looking at the downpipe not installed. lol

Feel like driving up to canton? I could help on Sunday probably. It's a pretty quick and easy install.

do the blanket with the dp off, its much easier to route those wires securely.

    Hmmmm...

I've got some automotive projects going on this weekend, so I'll have my tools out anyway, and I've been kind of wanting to get under the hood of one of the newer WRXs.

If you think you might want to drive to the ghetto that is East Point (not really very far from Midtown), I might be able to help you mid-day Saturday.

Is your car lowered? If not, replacing the DP while the car is parked on ramps wouldn't be too bad. Since it's a 2013 model, frozen bolts are unlikely, which is nice.

Feel free to shoot me a PM. I've turned a wrench or two on Subarus. ;) The only thing I'd ask is that you bring a case of beer, and let me test fit a baby seat in the rear of your car so I can see first hand if I might want a newer WRX in the near future (we have our first child on the way).

Sorry... Surely you knew something would have to be in it for me. :)

Crap dude I would gladly do this for you at no charge but my STI is still on my ramps so that would complicate things a little.
    Also i'm in Norcross.

If you thought of investing in a pair of ramps from autozone that would eliminate that problem and I'd be glad to do it / help do it.

You have the gasket for the catback > downpipe right? that's the one that always leaks

He can come to my house AKA full-service-shop and we'll do it there.
I just can't take my car off my ramps right now so he'll need to bring a pair (no pun intended)

First off thanks to everyone for being willing to lend a helping hand. It is very much appreciated. Honestly I'm up for anyone to help. It's awesome that I can post up on here and get several people willing to help.

Norcross and East point are both somewhat equal distances. Digitized I know you have done a ton of work to my year wrx/sti. K. Marx I'd be more than willing to let you put in a baby seat to try it out.

I've definitely thought about buying some ramps, but the problem is I park on the street in Midtown, so I will probably wait until I move. My parents are sick of all of the car parts I leave at their house in alpharetta. haha I still have a bunch of 350z parts at their house they are not all that happy about lol.

K marx anyway you would want to bring a pair of ramps to digitized place? We could test fit the baby seat and have a few  ? I know that is a long drive, just a thought. If not I'd be cool to come out there so I don't have to buy ramps... Let me know if I would fit into your schedule Saturday.

    Again thanks guys!

Turbo to downpipe gasket, and 3" to 2.5" dp to catback gasket are supposed to be to my house in the next couple hours via UPS.

i'll let him give you his opinion, but in mine it was very little difference, in fact I think he was a little let down haha.
It does gurgle and backfire a lot more on deaccel.

Whenever you wanna swap it let me know i'll be glad to help.

Digitized is right I was a little bit disappointed with noise difference as first (I like loud) haha. After driving it for 24 hours I love it. It sounds fantastic with the invidia downpipe. It definitely gave it a little lower growl to it and does make it a bit louder.

    Very happy with the results!
