I am hopefully going to get some help installing my defi gauges on the 8th at the install day... am I going to need any pieces that don't come with the gauges? I want to make sure I have everything I need when the 8th rolls around... also I have heard that the EGT is a pain to install b/c of the procedure... has anyone actually done it? I am just curious...

    Hopefully going to install...
    ATI center gauge pod
    EGT
    Boost
    Oil Pressure

I have a Fuel pressure gauge also (came with the package) that I am not going to use, so if anyone is interested..............................

    Thanks!

I have the same guages and I'll be at the install day. EGT, Boost, and Oil Pressure. However, my egt isn't hooked up because I just ordered a new MadDad header which has the EGT sensor hole pre-drilled :naughty:

The boost and oil pressure are easy. You need this OIL GALLEY PLUG for the oil sensor. http://www.jscspeed.com/wrx/engine/gauge_fittings.htm (genuine subaru part #'s: 11024AA210 & 037018200) Also, I had to get a "T" for the boost line. Other than that it's all gravy. It takes a little while just to get all the electronics wired correctly and get everything through the firewall.

Where are you putting your control unit? Here's mine... http://www.wrxatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7022&highlight=defi

yeah, where do you get the T fitting from, i tried home depot, lowes, pepboys and none of them had the right size since the hoses on the BOV are larger than the one for the boost sensor line. I'm guessing something like 1/4,1/4,1/8? jesus888, i think you can get the plug from the dealership since it's a subaru part, give them a call.

    i had to get a 3-way 1/4", then i got a single 1/4 to 1/8 reducer.

the oil galley plug is a subaru part, you can get it from a dealership or from jscspeed (the link i provided, that's where i got it and where i got my gauges).
