I just did a search on fastwrx.com to see if they make you specify model when selecting an intake. They don't make you specify, which means that it will fit.

Typhoon = hot air intake. It's the best of the hot air intakes because it has a heat shield, but it's still going to be 20+ degrees hotter than stock on days like we've been having lately.

On a 90 degree day the stock air box will normally run 100 to 110. Even the Typhoon is going to be 115 to 165... At 122 the ecu starts pulling timing. By 140 it's down 20+ hp.

Yes hot air intakes make hp on a dyno with the hood open and a fan blowing on it. Out in the real world (particularly here in the heat) colder is better ;)

I like the analysis. I know the feeling. I use a AEM shortram and you can definitely feel it get sluggish after long uses. I know the CAI's are a problem if you are deciding to go with Cobb, but I have heard some things about the CAI's being bad because its almost like your car sipping through a really long straw. Meaning the intake manifold pressures are lower. Any opinions now that we are on the subject of intakes?
