I'm considering buying a FMIC for $250 (used) but want to make sure it will fit!

The dimensions he gave me for it were:
core 24x12x3 and from end to end it's 31.5

Anyone know if this will work for me?

is it a whole kit or just the intercooler? You will probably need a new bumper beam to make it fit.

It's just the intercooler. Don't most people just remove the bumper beam or something? What are my options? Also would i have to cut some of the bumper? All the ones i've seen done look really clean... I want it to fit well and look clean.

well the kits that are made for our cars have a replacement piece for the bumper beam the also doubles as a mounting braket. youll have to get coustom pipeing for it. after the over all cost to do it and make it clean, you might as well get this http://ssautochrome.com/level.itml/icOid/1291
then all you need is a bov.

Hum, thanks for pointing that out! I may as well just do that instead... I'd better go ahead and do that before i get my tuning!! I have the HKS bov so i think i'm set...

Also for this setup do i have to cut the bumper at all or is it all ready to go?

  6. if you buy just the core, it'll probably cost about the same amount of money to get custom piping done.

Why not spend extra $130 and buy the SSautochrome? ;)

Any decent advantages over the cheaper one?

A front mount is really just going to increase the lag if you're on a stock turbo. A big top mount would be much more benficial unless you're pushing a 400+whp turbo.

Hum, maybe I'll push that back in my mod chain then. I do plan on pushing over 400hp but its goign to be 3 or 4 months...
