Introducing the Subaru B5-TPH (Turbo Parallel Hybrid)

All right folks, what do you guys & gals think of this technology?

The more i look at it, the style kind of grows on me. 2 Doors you say...

I am cool with a hatchback and two doors, just not THOSE two doors...yuck!

 

I don't like it one bit. It looks alot like the Nissan Murano which is cool, but just something about the Subaru version I don't like.

but the techno folks at Subi are on to something.
260-hp 2.0-liter boxer engine with a 191 kW (256 hp) electric. I'm not too versed in this area, but does that mean it's putting out 516HP throughout the power band?

 

Yeah the technology is really cool

 

i believe the electro suppliments the combusto, so you're looking at the 260hp number for total output. the supplimentation is what gives them such great mpg

best hybrid that would be out imo........it looks like a flatened nissan murano mixed with the subi suv.
