I remember back in the day people had asked me about scoring a good 400 watt+ inverter at a good price. well, Monoprice has manufactured what looks like a good 1000 watt one for $60. http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=108&cp_id=10844&cs_id=1084802&p_id=11565&seq=1&format=2 all the basic features you'd expect. post terminals, fused, thermal and low current shutoffs, etc
you can plug it into a lighter, but it would only be able to work at about 200 peak watts. this is one you should hard install to the car's charging system. I'm contemplating one for the wagon...
I'm not sure if I'm on the right thread but i have a single kicker 12" sub in its box with the kicker amp and everything. does anyone know of a good place to go get the installed right with a good price? I live around the marietta georgia area.
