HAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!! J/K bro! Congrats and keep that little guy away from my daughter! I hope that you guys have an easier time than we have had so far. All I can tell you is if people offer to help, come stay with you, cook you dinner, etc. Do not say no! This is sweet, in like a year, we can have a WRXAtlanta baby G2G! :bigthumb:
He shoots, He SCORES!!!! Congrats man.... To all those with babies though, I have a question... Why is it that everyone wants to know the sex of the baby early??? Maybe I'm old fasioned, but I want my first to be a surprise.... The most common response I get is.."You'll get a bunch of green clothes for the baby..."
We waited untill our's was born to find out what it was. I thought it was great, kind of like a kid waiting for chrismas. And we just desided to do the baby room in blue and yellow. Didn't care too much for the green. But I'm glad we waited to find out the sex. And mine isn't a baby anymore. She's five and all I can say is that they get more and more fun as they get older. I love her so much and can't even remember what life was like before her. It's great being a dad. Congrats to all the new & soon to be dads on the site!!! -drums
We miscarried with our first attempt so we wanted as much info about what was going on the second time around as we could get. Even had we not had difficulties, we would have wanted to know so we could plan better. There are lots of things to learn and think about depending upon the sex of the baby. Circumcision for boys, hygeine for girls, among other things, and if there was some type of chromosomal abnormality you would want to know before hand. We also didn't really get a choice with Fiona as the first U/S pic of her was a crotch shot, so even if we had wanted to wait, she didn't give us the option!
we discussed waiting till the baby was born to find out if it was a boy or a girl but both of us were very excited and wanted to know..plus we both are pretty organized and used to planning most things.. waiting to find out would have killed us..not being able to plan out colors, nursery schemes, clothes, etc..
One question I have for ya Kris (John, Scott and the other dads on here too)... Did you and your wife have a feeling about what it was going to be? My ex and I both had a gut feeling that we were gonna have a girl. Not sure why, we just did. And as it turned out we were right. -drums
Nah, I was sure I was gonna have a boy and Celine was sure she was gonna have a girl. I know people who "knew" though. Even one set of friends that were told they were having a girl (after the U/S) and the wife kept insisting it was gonna be a boy and sure enough it had a weiner...
congratz man!!!! Put me down for 3 kids... all girls... Its a funny thing... the only men in my family are my dad and me. I have 4 sisters and 3 daughters... my life of servitude...
i hear ya man i have 3 sisters..i am the only boy..even most of my cousins are girls.. Brett..we kinda had a feeling but I think it was more that we really wanted a boy and thats what the Lord blessed us with :wiggle:
yea I found out yestarday but I'm not going to highjack kris's thread. I'll post it somewhere else. :bigthumb:
