the other day i was starting off from a light and punched it. the clutch slipped all the way to 3rd gear and barely pulled, man i hate the smell of a burnt clutch.
i was checking a couple of clutch set ups out on ebay, one caught my attention. its made by a company named xtd. they say its a jdm clutch system. this particular cluch is a stage 3 racing clutch that includes 12lb chromoly flywheel, heavy duty racing pressure plate, ntn throw out bearing, pilot bearing, and MIBA 6 puck copper ceramic racing disc, ans alignment tool. all for $459.00 buy it now with $24.00 shipping

    RPS for the win

I got my full faced RPS clutch+2400 pound pressure plate + TOB that holds 450 crank TQ for about $480 from www.titanmotorsports.com or www.nipponpower.com (they should price match each other too). They are very friendly over the phone too.

Might check them out since you get stickers too, which add some HP/TQ :)

I wouldn't buy that xtd clutch that's on ebay. If you do a google search you'll find some very bad reviews, basically the clutch goes bad after 10000 miles. Anyway I wouldn't put a stage 3 clutch on an street wrx. I had an exedy stage 2 and it was too hard to drive on the street. I'll go for an stage 1 when i get my new turbo in.
