I am constantly changing my mind about tranny and all and was trying to see if Jarco imports Subie JDM trannies. Anyone here have experience with them.

I just can't make up my mind about the tranny. I think I would love the RA gearset but I dunno if it'll hold up to my driving when I get the 2.5L mated up and tuned. We are talking well up to 420 ft tq here. But a 6 speed is very exspensive.....decisions decisions....this sucks.

The guys at Jarco are awesome, I dont think they usally do subarus, but they might do it if you asked real nicely.

I wouldnt even bother with the RA gears, you will break them. If youre going to rebuild you might as well bite the bullet and get a ppg box.

Yeah but we are talking $4200 minimum. OUCH!

Seriously thinking about getting myself a second job to fund this addiction...lol

SS thinks the RA's will hold up (provided that I don't drive hard) but I tend to like to play a lot hence my doubts.

Darn they don't carry anything and will not get STi trannies.

yeah most local importers don't get much subaru stuff. i am currently working with my local importer on getting some random subaru stuff in from japan and thailand.
