Ok next payday will be upgrade day so im going to go ahead and do it all 18g injector and fuel pump and new TMIC. i got the cobb AP can i run the vf34 map on the 18g till i can get to a shop to get it tuned which will have to be in Atl of course and are these good prices 18G turbo Turboxs TMIC 660cc Power enterprise injectors Subaru blue 550CC injectors fuel pump + install kit 2155 shipped with Power Enterprise injectors 1935 with subaru blue 550cc injectors And do i need the 660's or will the 550's work fine for my set up. I also plan on doing meth injection in the future.
I wouldnt run that ots map for long, and when you do, try not to boost at all. get tuned asap. And personally I would mod the stock injectors. Its cheaper and they will flow better. I think that even the 660s would be cutting it close.
What else have you done to the car? I'm guessing like stage II at least, right? I just don't know how worried to be about your transmission after you have all the horsepower with the 18g. Anyway, your WRX will like you more if you minimize the time you are running an incorrect map. You could seriously damage stuff if you stay with the vf34 map for long.
hmm guess i need to look up that mod stock injector thing. Not to sure how to do that. as for the map i just need to use it to get to atl to get it tuned.an yea right now im stage 2 with I/c hoses
i bought my modded injectors form eBay (deatshwerk). They are modded, cleaned, and flow tested. I'm at topspeed right now for installation of 18g and tuning. i'll let you know how these all go together. I gotta wait like another 3hr....hnoes: hnoes:
yea for sure let me know how you like it i think im going to try and find some modded injectors cause after reading the 660 just might not cut it.
post up ur numbers when done... im curious what your setup will put out... make sure u give us all the details about gas/methanol/intercooler setup
Look at my mods in my sig. Same setup minus turbo inlet and FMIC. I don't know my hp but before SS fixed my maps, Topspeed had me pulling 304 hp 298 tq. Feels much better now and next week I will be Meth injected and hopefully I can get Scott to put it on the dyno for the final pull comparision. Looking for 350 tq and 330ish hp.
