I was snooping on the forester forum and a Fozz I was looking at was sold to somebody in Atlanta. Has anybody seen this Forester STi conversion?

Honestly I think I've seen this Fozzy twice on 10th St in the last couple of weeks. I meant to post up a spotted post, I may be wrong though, is there any other grey/silver color for that year Forester? I feel like the one I've seen a few times is browner than that car.

No, the car is actually silver I believe. The only color that was close was a gold color that I thought was hideous.

Yep, it was purchased by a buddy of mine. This car is pretty amazing and has one of the best car audio systems I've ever heard.

I forgot I had an account here. Yes, it was Kartboy's and Patrick Wilson's, drummer for Weezer. Now its mine! It is cyrstal grey metallic. Handles like a dream, but I think it needs more power. I think I am spoiled by my 04 sti. The six speed conversion is pretty sweet.

Drove it back from cali in december.

Lucky!!! I ALMOST bought it myself... I just didn't want to fly out and have it be in bad shape. I'm glad you rolled the dice because the more I learn about it the more I wish I hadn't hesitated.

I want to see it! You'd better autoX it!

For more power, get it tuned at TopSpeed! VF39 and STi TMIC, right?

Thanks for checking in! I can't wait to see this in person. If your situation ever changes, keep me in mind for a quick sale ;)

Yeah, when I saw this forester was for sale I had to ponder my finances for a while. Beautiful.

I'll try to post some pics later this week. Currently it is on jackstands awaiting some slotted rotors. As for the power upgrade. I think I will wait, my other 04 sti fulfills my speed needs. But it does have a STI TMIC and I believe it is the VF39, not sure ( I will have to look). It currently is running Stage 2 with Street Tuner, but doesn't pull as hard my stg 2 04 STI. I think a good tune can change that. One day, I'll bring it to Scott at Topspeed. For now, this is an everyday car for me.

One question. Who has the exedy hyper single clutch with stock flywheel? How is your car driving, especially out of 1st gear? I am not liking how the clutch engagement point on this car is so grabby and inconsistent. It also could be time for a new clutch. In that case I would lean towards an ACT clutch and flywheel.

I'd try bleeding your clutch fluid first to see if that helps the inconsistent engagement.

I hate bleeding the clutches on our car. I'll try.......more than likely I won't.

I'll post some pics of the car laters.
