Use at your own risk... I'm convinced part of my ringland failure was due to all the load on the engine using the V2 AP launch control for the STi... the STi I codrive at nationals had the same thing happen to it's engine about 9 mouths after mine with frequent use of launch control.

^^^I agree. Cobb's method of launch control flat out SUCKS.

Want launch control? Get an antilag system or go OS.

Yeah because it had nothing to do with the fact that 40k of the 50k miles on your old STi were racing;)

And everyone beat the hell outta your car

The launch control from Cobb flat out sucks, ringland failures on Subarus are almost always caused by ring gaps that are way to tight. You wouldn't believe how tight they are from the factory.

Hmm, still not updated on their site. Did you test it to see if it worked? On the features page it still lists it as not being a feature.

Official word from Cobb is that it is not released yet and it is still in Beta. FFS is not going to be coming out for the 16 bit ecu's to the best of my knowledge.

My car was completely stock for 45k out of 50k miles.... (well except for the ohlins stocks)......

what does 'adjust ignition timing in real time' mean?

you can do that with ATR. you tweak the ignition map.

does that mean you can do it somehow with the ap thing itself?. not sure how that would work since you go in an tweak the cells....

lol.... The new ap updates allow the end user to adjust launch control via the AP. However it will not work unless you flash a launch control enabled map onto the ecu, which is not out yet for the 2.0L wrx.
