we don't need no stinking launch control...

I finally went out and practiced some launches and I must say the six speed with the limited slip front diff is much better than the 5spd with open front.

With my old 5 spd I was consistently pulling 1.7x and an occasional high 1.6. The six speed is a whole new ball game.

Once I get the FMIC installed It will be time to take it to the track. Hopefully there are 11's in my future.

    r/t's don't effect your et's. I had a 9 second rt once and still managed a 12.5 ;).

I forgot to roll my window up so I sat there until it was all the way up and then took off. Kind of pissed off the other person because I still beat his time and made it to the quick 8.

If you are bracket racing its a differnet story.

  4. I don't think r/t has anything to do with your quarter mile time... did you meant your 60' time? ;)

the timer doesn't start till u start moving... the time between the light turning green and u moving is ur RT... the time between u start moving and pass the 1/4 mile is ur ET
