Month old news, but I haven't seen it posted yet. I hope to god they send 'em here. http://www.autoblog.com/2006/08/09/subary-legacy-sti-package-introduced-in-japan http://www.subaru-sti.co.jp/legacytunedbysti/catalog/index.html
"No engine modifications are part of the package since it's available only for the 2.0 GT spec.B trim, which already features Legacy's top-of-the-line 280-horsepower mill The list of add-ons includes the following: Sport suspension feat. Bilstein dampers 18" STi wheels STi front and rear spoilers Brembo brake upgrade Leather/Alcantara seating with red contrast stitching STi electro-luminescent gauge pack STi badging STi muffler with dual tip" just looks like a bling upgrade like the spec B ps happy birthday dude!
Hey...thanks...I forgot that shows up on here. Perhaps it is just bling, but at least it is a step in the right directions.
You know.....USDM spec B started as lightly upgraded legacy with a limited production. Now the USDM spec B is full production and has been given more upgrades in both looks and mechanicals. Maybe they are testing the waters over there in the same way with the STI legacy.
Word on the street is the 2008s are getting a larger turbo, however, subuaru is supposibly redesigning the security of the ECU to make it considerably more difficult for tuners to access certain tables.
