There is a track day at Little Talladega on Saturday, January 21st. It is run by Mere's old co-worker. There will be 10 cars out there, only 3 running at at time, $120 each. He does racing with his SRT-4, and there will be other SRT-4 guys out there. Should be able to get a lot of track time Mere, Stephen (xn00dlesx), rollingtrip and I are signed up, and there are a few spots remaining. Get to run with the neons. More details here: http://www.srtforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=201932 EDIT: all spots filled. I will post in this thread if any more open up -- Brian
I think someone else is waiting for a spot also. I will let you know if something opens up. We probably could rent out the place some other time also as a club. It cost around $1200 to rent the track for a day, and if we get 10-12 people it would be pretty reasonable for a track day. -- Brian
We've had three events there with 30 people attending each event. 10 people out there at a time in 30 min intervals. There was never an issue with traffic and it was ALOt of fun with pleanty of track time for all. 10 people total is crazy talk, even less is mad.
man i am down to get a group of people to get the track to ourselves, i would think that there would be no problem getting 9 other people to go.
Sounds like $120x10=$1200 is one day rent for dat track. 12 cars will make $100/car which is pretty attractive price for most of people, and dat includes me.
once i get some separate track wheels and rubber i will def be down for doing this like once a month or every other month
isn't there a some sort of limit to how many people can be on a track before an ambulance is required? would that bring up the cost?
How far of a drive is it to lil tally? And I also think we should go as a club sometime in the near future!
Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to take the spot. Thank you though, next time. This guy needs new tires!
daaaaaaaaaanget im to slow... just now seen this ii been wanting to blow that SRT-4s doors since i seen it in ONELAP.... missed my chance
Maybe you would have seen this thread sooner, if you'd spend lest time on bigboosting, and more time over here! hnoes: j/k I hope to get to meet you some day.
I believe it was a Nikon D50, judging from what it looked like and the D50 in the directory structure: http://www.haknslash.com/pictures/D50/TGPX/ -- Brian
