This is a control arm that came off of an 02 S202 time attack car. The seller claims that it is factory unit, but not standard production. The guy has been a little hard to communicate with, but I am very interested in picking these up, and I am trying to learn more about them.

At first...it looks like they are plain old STi control arms. The differences that I see are at the front and rear bushing mounts. If you notice, the front bushing is pushed pushed rearward, and the rear mount has been extended by the same amount. That would effectively move the front wheels forward by about an inch and increase wheelbase and caster. Both good things IMO. I don't think that there would be any clearance issues with the wheels and the front of the inner fenders as long as the car is not slammed, which it's not.

I was under my car the other day looking at the control arm mounts on the body and it looks like it all makes sense. There is about a half and inch of space on either side of the front mount bushing if this control arm were installed in the car the front side of the bushing reciever would be almost right up against the front side of the mount point on the car.

The rear bushing is just extended by the same amount. It doesn't look like a custom piece to me, it looks like it is a factory piece.

Can anyone here give me some info on these? WJM? KingWrx?

These are infact S202 control arms.

They increase the wheelbase of the Impreza from 2525mm to 2540mm, and front track width from 1485mm to 1490mm.

...and I am now the proud owner of them.
