Looking for a new MMO to play...

I'm pretty sick of WoW but atleast I know it's got a lot of content. City of heroes is wearing on me. I"ve done dark age of camelot. Vanguard just wasn't that fun in beta. What else is there? Or is there anything good coming out soon?

 

My friend recommended Planetside to me. It's a bit old but I'm going to give it a shot.

A new mmo coming out in the nearer future is Tabula Rasa, Kris recommended checking it out. Its in Beta now, but is a blast to play even in its current state. Pick up the pre-order for $10 and access to the beta...

I started playing Oblivion again, its not online of course but its still fun.

 

what? if you like flying around for 10 hours with nothing to do. they've managed to recreate sub light travel in all its boring glory.

warhammer should be coming out soon. but it's for real men and PvP

 

guild wars is no monthly fee, i likey the demo version.

 

the next one that i start up will be Warhammer Online...assuming they release it anytime soon.
although, i am finding all kinds of things to do now that i have quit WoW.
Warhammer is being made by the same people that did Dark Ages of Camelot, so i am expecting the PvP to be epic.

 

Eve is fun if you know what your doing .. flying for 10 hrs isnt usually someothin you do

 

I hate mythic though.....with a passion.....they don't listen and they botch up everythng

 

All of my friends are playing in DDO. They say they enjoy it because it is updated about once every two months with new content, so it never really gets old. plus it has built in voice chat, which is a boon for groups and raids.
I tried playing it for a few days, but I just dont have the time for a MMO right now.

 

Not all MMO's but these games should occupy some of your time. Tabula Rasa beta, Oblivion (non MMO but its awesome especially with the mods you can add in. This game is simply beautiful!), Titan Quest (again non MMO but still awesome), Bioshock (Non MMO but this game is friggin sweet if your system can run it), Half Life 2 and Half Life 2 Episode 1 are always fun (playing it through a 2nd time right now). FEAR is a badass game.

I cant wait for Crysis! Spore looks pretty cool too. Left 4 Dead is coming soon. Team Fortress 2 packaged with Portal should be coming out in October. Half Life 2 Episode 2 is due this Fall also.
