I just bought the STi piston 5MT shift knob from JL889 tonight, I love how it feels, but it wont stay still. It keeps spinning when I try to twist it on all the way. I know it wont go any further, so any ideas as to how I can get it to stay put?

the teflon/delrin insert is not staying on the metal
pull it out while screwed on and maybe jbweld the insert to the knob

Well, I tried unscrewing it, and it just kept getting tighter...:)

Its fine now. I guess I screwed it down too far. Its a replica so it probably doesn't have threads all the way through. I love it though. Much better than stock leather.
