does a day like today (super humid) make the car lose power? it's either that or i got a horrbile batch of that ethanol mixed gas from QT.. it just felt like my car had a huge turbo lag

Its harder for moisture to evaporate and cool your IC when the air is already filled with moisture, i.e. "its humid out". Also, less methanol will be dissolved into the water at higher temperatures due to the fact that volatile things have a higher vapor pressure than water.

The Subie and most any car hates humid air. It's the air I bet if it's a one time thing. Now if it dries up and the car still does it then there is something else like a boost or vacuum leak.

My car is acting up this morning. Hit boost and it started cutting out really bad like it lost spark or something. A Gremlin I've had since I went 18g 90,000 miles ago. It 'ONLY' happens when it rains a lot and is extremely damp and humid out.

I'm thinking an electrical connection is getting damp somewhere but dunno where to look as everything looks dry under the hood.
