Well, long story short.. Some months back there was a very sweet deal from a company called 357 Customs that involved getting a free Epiphone Zakk Wylde guitar with the purchase of some miscellanous other stuff. Seemed too good to be true but a lot of us jumped on it. Well, the deal kept being put off and put off and nobody has received anything worthwhile out of it at this point. Most have filed a chargeback and gotten their money back (including me). Now, there's one guy over in Aghanistan on duty that ordered one of these deals, and he's--like the rest of us--stuck without it. So the gang over at Slickdeals is trying to see if they can get donations together to buy this guy a camo Zakk Wylde Les Paul and send it to him. The person who took upon himself to organize this (and he's a good guy) has setup an email account at chokesbox@gmail.com and is currently gathering emails from people willing to donate. If the numbers add up he'll setup a Paypal deal to collect the money.
