this is a pretty cool diy, i know some of you guys with give me -1 for using an apc boot but it was only 10 bucks. go to advance get the one with the red stitching and pull out you center consol. remove the old boot (self explanatory) and the remove the rubber "thingy" that holds on to your shifter knob. take the apc piece and scissors, hack the top off past the drawstring in the middle of the velcrow, cut the velcrow strip smaller and fold it in over the rubber guy. use the adheisive of your choice to make it stay. pull the bottom of the boot around the plastic fram from the original. punch the holes where they belong and reinstall. ill post pics and a step by step when i find my usb cable for my camera. it complements the sti speedo bezel nicely and it was real cheap.

i'd love to do a Z-gate or a rubber boot. the saggy leather doesn't turn me on.

Looks really good in person. I think if he had to do it again it probably would turn out better.
