You guys have little checkered red/white picnic cloths to put the food down on, and little wicker baskets? :gfight:
The drive was sweet. Even though my oil temp was 102 degrees C by the time we got to the top of the mountain. I'm really glad we hit all the good roads on the way up because it gave me a great feel for my cars capabilities. Now I'm going to have to upgrade my anti-sway bars.
Here's some camera phone pics. They actually came out ok since they were all daylight shots. This was our little pitstop at the Wal-Mart in Dahlenega
More of the pitstop and some of the pee break before the real hill climb. I hope somebody got some of the picnic cause if not that would suck.
I got a few too!! What happens when you play with meth on a grill? And some picnic pics and oh yes da chicken was da bomb!!
Yeah it was definitely a great time. It's crazy how we were actually in a cloud for while as we neared the top. I actually got a tiny bit of sunburn though since it cleared off for an hour or two.
That was by far one of the best and coolest g2g's I have ever been to. That was awesome chicken, Scotty B, and great chili, Chris. I definitely could see the difference on my front sway when I was going down hill. It was really cool going through the fog, and I am sporting the burnt face look. What a great time for my first full year on the forums....Thanks again!!!!. Oh, and those are awesome pics and it was nice meeting some of the new folks too. Mark
I had a great time. Except for the person picking on me, which shall remain nameless, about my so called "Southern Accent". :wtc: I just hate the day ended as it did.
