I was just wondering which is better as far as performance. Which would i get the most out of. And also if anybody knows how much hp my transmission could handle. Thanks!
You are talking about very different things here. An I/C spray may give you 5-10 hp, but would be easy and realitively cheap to install. Meth injection is a big deal and requires professional tuning but has big upside. As far as the transmission, a big part depends on how it is driven / launched. From reading though, above 300hp you can count on broken gears. However, driven carefully / gently you could be OK. But you aren't doing mods to get to that point to drive it gentle are you?
I/C spray not good for any more HP most likely, it just gets rid of your heat soak at the track or otherwise for top mounts.
Are you talking water spray on the intercooler or the CO2 kits? Water spray is safe, some people have reported their cars going very lean running the CO2 sprayers. I suggest you do a lot more research if you want to run methanol in your car. You can get great numbers but it is a serious undertaking and you will have to adjust your maintenance plans with the car (much more frequent oil changes, etc). Basically just read a lot about it before deciding you want to do it, you will gain upwards up 50-70whp with it.
well i do need to research it. lol, something i have not done. it was just a thought that ran through my mind today. . my car just seems slow now....... i guess cause i drive it everyday. what are the risks with running meth? The transmission is a legacy spec b.

That car NEEDS meth. 75/25 Meth/water mix should put that WELL over 400whp. Or you should just sell it to me Siegel
Nice thread so far.... I didn't even know that about the more frequent oil change thing. Of course I've always sort of viewed meth injection as sorta like crack or crystal meth... no pun intended. Not to rag on it. Honestly though I don't see why you guys don't cover some more of the cons of it in this thread. I seriously doubt there's actually a committed thread just to the pros and cons.
Honestly I don't change my oil any different with methanol than with regular gasoline. I change my oil every 5K and you can ask anyone especially Siegel I beat on the car daily. I just don't redline the crap out of it.

Well I really like the car! But I wouldn't turn down any reasonable offer.......... I wouldn't mind having an STI. I know it would be a downgrade from what I already have.

Yeah.... I'd trade my car on an STi if I got a reasonable offer. Meaning I'd want one that isn't already ragged the fvck out... The 6MT and LSD's are about all I'd be gaining though really.
