I've seen a few different forums and sites (Crutchfield was one) and they all have different info. even here i see mixed size info.
what are the speaker sizes in a 2005 WRX sedan?
is it 6.5" up front and 4" in the rear? i have 4,, 6.5" Excelon i took out of my 1996 GT before i sold it. i freakin' love these things. i want to put them in my rex, but can't find a solid piece of info. anyone know for sure, before i start pulling door handles and whatnot off?
i'm jonesin' for my 15" JL sub and kenwood/ipod HU, also.

the stock sizes are 5.25" front, and 4" rear, both very shallow.

some 6.5 will fit with spacers, and some 5.25 in rear will fit also (though many argue replacing rear speakers is pointless in the impreza.)

really?!?! that's not good news. hmmm... man, no wonder the system is so weak. at first it sounded alright, but driving with the windows down, you can hold conversation over the stereo at full tilt.
thanks for the info, guess i have some figuring to do. bummer!

IAperformance.com has some nice mounting brackets you can buy for mounting various speaker sizes in our cars.

Kanchou, rear speakers are useless in all cars . . .
