Mobile Speed Test

Just curious to see what everyone's 3G speeds are. T-Mobile is supposed to upgrading their 3G network to HSPA 7.2Mbps.

Please go to http://www.mobilespeedtest.com/ on your phone, run the 2mb test after the first test and then post the results.

This is mine. Just copy down the code from the "forum code", from the network results.

wtf? where did you get that? I thought they had only rolled that out in NY and chicao?

 

That's the speed I'm getting. Add Atlanta to that list. My icon in at top of the phone is also an "H",

I only saw about 15 minutes or so of an "outage"...some people had an hour. Either way, I'll take the outage for the "new" speed! hmmm...Coincidence????

 

at&t says you're welcome for using their network/towers

EDIT: i got 1766kbps in an area with only 2 3G towers (no verizon towers in the county at all ) so not too bad. but i use wireless all the time anyways.

 

so thats what happened this week, i thought my g1 was going haywire

 

just for shits and giggles I ran this from my work computer:

even on my home laptop i'm getting only 1290kbps tried again and only 470kbps this time

 

on an iPhone 3gs in a room somewhat underground
