  1. Can any shop flow test these. I found a set for 100$ and from what i have been reading theses are just as good as paying 4 to 500$ for new injectors. I just want to make sure theyll flow enough for what im going to need. when it comes time. oh yea itll just be an 18g just incase someone question was going to be how much do you need.

i think you'd have to send them out to RC or somewhere.

I'm not sure tuners really like the idea of using modded injectors like that. I think it's safer to go with units made to flow exact amounts.

yah but what if they weren't modded correctly? then you put them in, use them ,and try and boost 18 psi and detinate your cylinders and then no ore suby. I would get them checked just to be safe. :hsnono:

I had a friend mod my stock injectors on his metal lathe. Then I sent them to RC for cleaning and flow testing.

RC charged me around $106 plus shipping. I haven't installed them yet because I'm in the middle of building my motor. I haven't heard any negative comments about modded stockers that could be backed up with proof. However, I have seen many people who have had good results with modded wrx and sti injectors. I asked Phil (Element Tuning) if I would have any problems using the modded stock wrx injectors and he said no. Phil said he uses them for up to 400whp on 93oct and 500whp on C16. 800cc's will be a lot of fuel for an 18g. Hopefully you have an EMS that can pull all of that fuel.
