Motor stop turning randomly.

  1. So I was driving home today during rush hour and my car dies on me as soon as I slip into neutral at a light. I turn the motor over again and its fine. Get to another light and it dies on me. This is probably after driving in traffic for 10-15 minutes.

So I try to turn the car back on, get a loud buzzing noise and the console lights up.. I had my Starter, battery and both terminals replaced a few months ago.

After ten minutes being on the side of the road I try to turn the engine one last time and it finally turned over and I made it home. The car didn't produce any CEL codes. Trying to figure out a list of things this could be. I'm hoping its just the terminals on the battery. I have a road trip in a week.

Sorry if this is a mess im having a hectic day and im sorry if this is in the wrong place.

sounds like a possible vaccuum leak. but the buzzing sound doesn't add up

Starter could be going bad again. Did you get a Subaru starter or an aftermarket?

I got a 06 sti starter it was used. By the time I got home it was too dark to look under the hood. I am going to see if I notice anything. Luckily I had plans to see Allpro on Tuesday.

two grounds on the intake are the first place I'd look after the battery, starter and alternator.

I believe it does actually. It would of come on the car when I bought it.

  9. So I turn the car on with no problems this morning just to let it warm up, and it dies after 4-5 minutes. No buzzing noise when I try to turn the motor. The motor starts turning but can not successfully turn. Going to try and get some o rings. I looked around trying to find out what o-ring fits onto my car. It seems like 2mm x 28mm was the most mentioned fitting. Does anyone know from experience?
