Just curious what everyones favorite car movies are. Some of my favorites.. -Cannonball Run -Christine -The Wraith -All the Smokey and the Bandits maybe even post up some of the worst lol
The first "Transporter" - some pretty awesome driving scenes... Who Am I? with Jackie Chan...awesome heel and toe action in, I think, an EVO IV... Bullit...an obvious one...
Jackie Chan was in the first Cannonball Run as well...driving a Mitsubishi Starion....I'm pretty sure he was sponsored by Mistubishi at one point
I just remember watching that movie and seeing an empty shell of an E36 fly off of a parking deck. It was very obvious that there wasn't an engine or tranny in that car.
damn i had forgotten about a lot of those. i was thinking of starting a collection of great car movies.
the guy that choreographed the Blues Bros chase scenes did a ton of car flicks in the 70's and early 80's. what the hell is his name and what other movies did he work with? nice call pEd.
Deathproof! I second Blues Brothers, just for sheer volume of destruction. As bad as it was, the newer Dukes of Hazzard movie had some kickass scenes with the General ripping up Atlanta (not to mention willie nelson and Broken Lizard). oh, and definitely Herbie Fully Loaded. Giggidy giggidy. Giggidy goo.
