    Hey all,

Bought my first wrx today. Its an 05, blue with black interior. One of the first things I'd like to do is go wingless. How can I find someone willing to swap?

    Thanks !!

    welcome to WRXatlanta :)

to look for people to swap trunks, make a thread in our 'Private Wanted' classifieds... here's a link to the subforum:

my suggestion for a title: 'WTT: Winged WRB WRX trunk for Wingless trunk'

Welcome to the boards! AS Milo said, your best bet is to get on as many of the boards as you can and advertise. Good luck with it though. There are alot of people who want to go wingless and not that many wingless trunks. Also, keep in mind that, legally, you will have to add a brake light to the shelf in the rear window...

Welcome and good luck with your swap. I like the look of a wingless wrx too.

Thanks!! I live in vinings now, are there ever any meets in atlanta? And as far as my wrx, I'd like to be in the 300hp range. My friend just bought a 99 corvette (345 hp i think) and how sweet would it be for my wrx to take him!!!! I've looked at some of vishnu's kits, are they good?

300 crank HP will be easy to get to... 300 WHP will take a little more... one of the cheapest ways to get to 300whp on pump gas would be a VF34 turbo, front mount intercooler, full exhaust, modified stock injectors, fuel pump and protune

almost all our meets are in atlanta... i try to keep links to the upcoming meets in my signature

also keep checking the get together section

Cool, thanks. How do I choose which FMIC is right? Does it depend on the turbo? And also who makes a good fuel pump I can look at?

most FMICs u find online will be setup for the stock mounting turbos... so theoretically they all should fit fine... however some brands fit better than others... most people with the perrin have been happy with theirs... personally i like APS but i haven't done much research on fitment
