After I spend 3 hours cleaning my car on Saturday, my car is already yellow with pollen. Has anyone else suffered from this?

I have, I didn't just wash my car, but it is no longer blue. I am so thankful that I am not allergic to Pollen. If I was, I would be dead right now. I have never seen anything like this. How long does the Pollen season last?

Couple years ago, I swear there was an INCH of yellow shit on my car when I got off work...

For some reason, this stuff doesn't bother me, but a few weeks after the yellow pollen goes away, I get hit badly with whatever is in the air at the time.

every morning i come outside to a yellow rx-8, there are about 16-17 pine trees within 30ft of my car so it pretty much stays yellow thoughout the pine pollen season, my main gripe is that the shit is so large and there is so much of it that even though im not allergic to it, it dries my eyes and makes me cough.

I know black cars are really bad for pollen season......

I may have to wash mine Friday night, put it in the garage and then put the car cover on. It will still only stop the pollen for a little while though...

Well, I like my yellow WRX. I can't even tell there is pollen on it, except for the glass. Ever notice those little radial pollen smears on the glass from wiper streaks? Driving around yesterday before the rain, when the wind would blow, you could see the pollen blowing in the wind on the horizon like a cloud. I drive around with my A/C on recirculate to try to keep out the pollen.

Anybody know if the WRX air filters (for the engine and the cabin) do any good against the pollen?

Just an fyi...the pollen count is considered in the high range when it hits 120 (I am assuming PPM here). Yesterday it was in the 700's!!!!!

Friday night on my way home I am gonna stop at a DIY carwash and atleast knock off as much dirt as possible.

The bottom half of my car is brown and the top is now yellow.

Living in the country it great till you drive over all the muck that tractors and trucks drag on the road. People wonder why I have mudflaps.
