Hi, name's philip. I grew up in Macon, GA but got my career started in Bloomington, IL. I'm currently a software engineer for State Farm and work at their corp headquarters (no, I can't get you discount). I've owned my WRX for almost 2yrs and she has gone from totally stock to (almost) fully prepped for ESP for autox. She's no longer my daily driver and has become a trailer queen. She's actually in the garage sitting on hoosiers. I'll be at the Dixie national tour and hope to make the AMS tour event as well but the outlook for that one isn't looking good due to my sister graduating high school that saturday. Anyway, figured I'd introduce myself. The WRX is a 2002 complete with paint chips and scratches, but if stickers add horsepower, I should be making a 9s pass down the 1/4 lol I've got lots of autox videos on youtube, myspace, and myscca so check my homepage for links to those. Pics (as I'm sure that's what you're waiting for) :naughty: From MidGA autox last year (yes, I do travel from IL to GA quite often) Local forum calendar page: Home field (Rantoul, IL): other misc: I hope to be in IL for another 2yrs and then heading back down to Atlanta, so if anyone knows of some good java programming jobs in the Alpharetta, Marieta, and/or Duluth areas then hit me up as I'm getting SICK of this SNOW and -25* wind chills!! lol
If your looking for something alittle different from java programming give me a shout. I am not sure if we are hiring at this moment, but most likely will be in the very near future. I actually believe we have a project in flight at StateFarm. Would be a consulting gig if interested. PM me for more info. welcome to the boards.
It appears from the first 2 pictures, he was in Dstock, then changed to ESP. Welcome to the site dude!
I've got the highest rates cusco makes. They'll have to work for at least this year. They're still 11/9 f/r. I'm always open to stuff but really prefer to stay in java/websphere/portal areas. I'm not really into temp consulting stuff, direct hire full time is more like it. In time, I'm sure, I've still got a few loans I want SF to pay off first lol
let me get this straight... you actually drive from IL to go to autoxes at Cordele????!?!?!? My husband has a hard time trying to get me to go to MGSCCA and they are only two hours south of us..... See you at dixie!
Thanks!! Why yes it is  i know. I've got a real good friend in Macon that runs a SM2 supercharged miata that I manged to get hooked on autox about a year or so ago. He called me up and said he was thinking of going out and asked me a lot of questions. I told him that I'd drive down to go to his first autox with him and try to help out with pointers and whatnot. Turned out we were in the same running group and I couldn't ride with him except on his last run and a few fun runs. However, he was hooked. Fast forward to now and I've convinced him to register for Dixie and buy v710s due to his consistency in times over the past 4 or so events. Cordele is less than ideal of a location. The Warner Robins high school stadium lot was WAAAAY better and it even had a nice slope for off camber stuff. I used to race a CRX and a XR4TI (merkur) back in the mid-ga region in high school and early college, my first two regional championships too! If anyone's interested, here's a few links to LOTS of my in-car videos from the past two years in the scoob. http://www.youtube.com/user/digitalseance http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.viewVideos&channelid=103099569 http://digitalseance.member.myscca.com/
