My car has just recently started running lean at low load and really lean during boost. My idle is also erratic. I have checked all the lines after the maf and before the turbo and can't find anything. My reasoning is if the leak was after the turbo I would run rich under boost because metered air would not be making it to the cylinder. I also have a wideband and my wideband reads the same as the stock o2 (via delta dash) so I don't think thats it either. I do have some very small nicks on the turbo inlet pipe right where it connects to the turbo. I can't tell if they go all the way through but I imagine if they were the cause that they would be getting larger every time I got on it.

I think it may be the maf. I'd like to borrow someone's to see if it is the cause before I drop any money on a new one. It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to determine if it's the culprit. So if you are in the Roswell/Woodstock area and are in need of some points toward your karma drop me a pm.

    thanks
    Mike

Do you live or work out his way? (this way being around Hwy 92 and Sandy Plains Rd at the Cobb Woodstock border) The car is not running right and I don't want to venture too far.

    thanks again

    wrxguy,

I am going to pull off the ic today and make sure the alc/inj nozzle is clean. I don't really think its my problem because I am lean off boost. If this doesn't work I'll give you a call.

    thanks
