Circuit City in Duluth is getting some on Thursday, three of each. I will do what I can to hold them for you guys but no promises. I will check this thread in the morning to see if you are interested. :wavey:
The truck is arriving at 1:30. I usually recieve the truck when I get in but it might be early because of the PS3's. If you want to meet early let me know since I don't have class that day. If you are really interested let me know and I'll see what I can do.
The guy in the cubicle next to me (WRX owner) wanted a PS3 bad. He's picking up a PS3 for himself right now and a Wii for me. <edit> Argh! Turns out the Wii's are this Sunday, not today. He's got the 60GB version. All 3 PS3's are taken now. Thanks for the hookup though!
score number 2 for the A man, heh. they will have 30 Wii's this sunday but there is an add in the paper so you better get there at like 7 if you want to get one. One of the dudes in line with us thought it would be a good idea to bring a glock to the party, but apparently is cool to have one on your peron as long as its at your side in a holster and not covered.
Yeah it's perfectly legal to carry a sidearm in public if it's holstered and in plain view. If you have a CCW (Concealed Weapons Permit) then you can have it concealed, like in a shoulder harness under a blazer. If there's any police on the site please correct me if I'm wrong about that. Craig
"A person is guilty of a misdemeanor when he carries (Police, Military and others listed under GC 16-11-130 are exempt) * To or while at a public gathering any explosive compound, firearm, or knife designed for the purpose of offense and defense. * (b) For the purpose of this Code section, "public gathering" shall include, but shall not be limited to, athletic or sporting events, churches or church functions, political rallies or functions, publicly owned or operated buildings, or establishments at which alcoholic beverages are sold for consumption on the premises. Nothing in this Code section shall otherwise prohibit the carrying of a firearm in any other public place by a person licensed or permitted to carry such firearm by this part." So I'm guessing it would be legit since Best Buy is a private business (or is it? I mean it's publicly traded, but I'm guessing that's kind of a different deal). You'd still probably get the cops called on you, but I guess they couldn't arrest you?
