I bought an a turbo back from a member on here, and I need help taking it off his car and slapping it on mine. I suck major arse at working on cars, so I am asking help from anyone in the area. So basically it is doing an exhaust swap on 2 cars. I am at the point of giving up cause I cannot afford 600 bucks in labor to do the job. Whoever can help, I will work out a deal with you if you can help. Someone hook me up cause I have an ecutek tune w/ Scott on the 8th of June. Of course I am open anytime to do this...the sooner the better! I have a set of ramps, and some basic tools. I think I need another set to lift both cars. Someone PLEASE HELP!lol I am desperate!!! Thanks.

    oh yeah...my cell is (770) 655-8506.

i've got to work at the shop this w/e so give me a call around 1:00 and see if we're busy or not (678-584-7255). we close at 4:00 but like i said if we're not doing anything i'm sure that one of the techs would work out a side deal for you guys to swap it out. also do you have the down pipe gaskets for the turbo? you're going to need two new ones. call me if you have any q's.

i bought one new gasket the other day at SoG and heatwrap for the dp. i have to swing by SoG today anyways to p/u the STi. i'll buy another one, and a few dp bolts in case one breaks.

Shane, sorry I cant come up there to help but, if you could bring it back down to your new house, I could help you, or you could even come over to my house.

I'm in Norcross, could help out on Sunday or Monday. Let Me Know

If you want it done this week I work from 8-5 m-f but can do it one evening.

p.s. I have Ramps, Jack Stands, and some basic tools that are needed for the swap

Just realized you said TBE. If somebody else knows a little more about the downpipe part that could help with that chime in. I could do it and have seen it done, would like somebody else with a lil more know how to help a bit though.

I don't have to work tomorrow (Wednesday). As long as that doesn't change, I could help then.

^^^PM sent! I am VERY strapped for cash as we are buying a house as we speak. Thanks to everyone to said they can help. As far as me paying someone 100+ bucks is kinda too steep for me right now.:( However, I am willing to pay for gas, and other stuff for someone taking their time to help. Thanks again ya'll.

I can potentially help on Sunday. I live in Loganville, just outside of Snellville. We could potentially even use my garage. Is this a TBE or just a catback? If its a full TBE, we might need someone else who has done the swap before. Let me know how this sounds and I can approach the boss with it...

TBE is really, really easy, honestly. Feel free to borrow my O2 sensor socket if you need it.

Go to scoobymods or a forum that has a pictorial explanation of the install. http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=369. This is an example of an exploded diagram of the exhaust. You have to be a member to view the picture, just register because they have a lot of other mod explanations. Gotta break yourself in sometime.
