please go to www.siegelracing.com and tell me if you can see the right-column (should be light gray with images and copy in it) on the home page and subsequent pages. please post back here and tell me: if you can see the content on the home page, and secondary pages what browser ver/type you are using what OS you are using i'm doing some SSI debugging and this feedback would be very helpful to me. thanks in advance -monk
It works fine in Firefox 2.0.0.6, but doesn't display in IE 6.0.2900. In my experience, cross-browser SSI can be challenging.
FYI...I viewed the source in IE and the right column HTML is rendered out to the client. It sounds like a CSS / general display issue, rather than SSI, as if it were the latter, generally you wouldn't see the rendered HTML. I'm sure you're onto the problem already.
i know, that's why i wanted people to look at the secondary pages, those are SSI. IE6 CSS-P support was weak. IE7 finally caught up with MOZ in in W3C rendering compliance (sort of) now, does the footer on the subsequent pages show up in IE 6?
