I'm going to need new tires soon too, any suggestions on better tires than my stock potenza's? I've heard there are some others that are slightly cheaper but way better on performance. ANy ideas what those would be?

  12. I'm running Eagle F1 GSD3...some soft sidewalls. I've heard the Toyos are exactly like mine in performace (prob better) and it has stiffer sidewalls. The wheels really shine in how much grip they get in water!

Ahh, thanks. How about a set of 18" rims? Can I drop some 225/40/18's without rolling the fenders?

Yup. I have 225/40/18 tires on my car and I have TEIN S-techs and my car is fine.

Edgeracing.com for cheap tires check them out and great customer service. As far as replacement for stock Potenzas RE070 I would look into Toyo T1R or Falken Azenis 615 or Hankook Z212 RS-2 all great tires and will last a little longer than the stock ones hope that helps.

width of tires depends on the width of rims not size
7" rims best fit 215s (I wont go any higher than 225s)
There is optimum and allowed so if you go passs that you are on your own
