this is extremely frustrating, there seriously arent and WRX's for sale that even come close to my criteria:eek: . and if you guys know anyone that wants to buy a slightly used/non abused rx-8 with 9000 miles on it, or take over the lease, let me know:D

What are your criteria? Have you looked all over the US at cars and also ebaymotors?

no, im sticking to within 50 miles becasue i dont want to deal with the problem of shipping and the fact that i cant have it inspected etc.

as far as criteria goes i want a 02 or 03, miles arent an issue as long as its below 50k. color in order of prefrence blue, black, silver. little to no mods, and has to be manual.

I got very frustrated in my search as well. I started looking in Dec. (seriously on the net daily begining of Jan.) Found my car a little less than 2 months.

Be patient, WRX's are hard to find. Because once you drive one you don't want to get rid of it. And then add to that any other things that would make the search that much tougher, ie. certain color, lows miles, no mods...

Well, I can understand not wanting to go more than 50 miles. I would consider 300 miles because there will be other subaru dealerships within that radius which you could take the car to to get it inspected.

^^^I guess 300 miles is ok, the hearse was in simpsonville, SC which is east or west of greenville.

as far as the 2 that were posted the blue one is a little more than i was looking to pay for, more in the 15-16 range, and the silver one i just dont like the wing and wheels.

EDIT: Also the reason im looking for WR blue is because i eventually want to do a complete WRC changonver:D :D :D :D :D :D :D  :bigthumb:

    41XXX miles
    Exedy Clutch
EGT and Boost gauge's in Autometer Pod
    Catless uppipe
painted headlights black (looks sick! :bigthumb: )EGT and Boost Gauge's
    BOV (not sure which one)
    push start ignition
    asking $18,000

He had an RFL-Ti exhaust but took it off, also put back on the stock rims. I think he is running wingless (but there are many people with STi's lookin to trade for no wing if thats what you want).

Hmm, sounds nice, but thats a little more than i would like to spend, even though it does have a little bit of aftermarket items.

i found this 02 WR blue , hopefully it will be available in a few weeks/when I have my car sold.

Why do you not just buy and sell the parts and make some investment back ?

Well I spoke to the guy, and said that I've been speaking to somebody that is interested in a used WRX in the area. Told him that 18k was a little higher than said buyer was wanting, and he said to make an offer because he's flexible. So if you're interested in making him an offer, let me know.

well, blue book has it for 16 so i guess i would give him 16.5 since its got some exrta stuff, but im sure thats a little low for him. but ask him any way.
