well not exactly new, got it from johnnyboy, rps 6 puck sprung hub, it's very taught and so far lots of fun. haven't started really playing with it yet, but who wants to take bets on when the 5mt gets helical gears(ha ha (i hope that's not neccessary)). a very big thanks to arnold on the board , he put it on for me at atlanta classic cars, he did a knockout job at a fantastic price so big ups to you mr.lettsome. now all i need is two things, a track day, and maybe even a timeslip. oh and a protune, hehe.
(that's thursday) p.s. i hate to pirate my own thread but which fellini's and is it this thursday (i know i should know this stuff)
well i work at the mclendon store now but i think personally that la vista has the best parking/ seating
What up crash. Do you wrk at the Candler Park Fillini's? My girlfriend works at the Biscuit. I'm sure I'll see you around eventually. Congrats on the new clutch BTW.
When will you be at work? I'll come in for a slice. My GFs name is Gabriella by the way, if you happen to be at the biscuit. She has to work tonight so I'll probably be through there at some point.
Crash#2, I have the same clutch as you. It is a big pain to drive in traffic and its going to be hell on that transmission if you launch it hard. I decided to upgrade my tranny before it broke. I was pushing 400tq to the wheels on the stock tranny but that was using an organinc clutch. I am sure it would have died using the RPS 6 puck. Good luck and start saving just in case
yeah traffic sux, but it is relatively low in my area, plus i drive 1 mile to work. i also don't drag race, i just wanted a clutch that wouldn't slip and with a heavy take-up. maybe in the future i'll switch to the sport disk setup with this heavier version of thier pressure plate
