Hey people of WRX Atl. As you can tell from the thread title, I'm new... Hahah Just wanted to introduce myself here. I myself am no Impreza/WRX driver, but I do like them. A lot. My next car is actually planned to be an '05 Impreza WRX, but I don't know how long it'll be 'till that happens. I'm no gear head, but I do enjoy learning more about cars in general and how things work under the hood. I'm 18, having graduated from high school last semester, and should, hopefully, be starting up school in January. Anyway, yeah. I'll try to be as active as possible, and maybe I'll see you guys from Gwinnett County at some of the meets.
Welcome! And if you have any questions about anything you read, feel free to ask. MOST of the people on here are pretty friendly and will be happy to answer
Hahah. Thanks for all of the welcomes. I was talking to my friend about this community and he said everyone here is pretty cool. Much more than the Evo community... Lloololol Anyway, here's my ride. Hahah. '01 Sonata. It's kind of beat up, and it's dying, but it's been doing my family good for the 8-9 years we've had it.
Welcome to the community. WRX's are starting to come around quite cheaply now. By cheap I mean < $10K. I see them listed for 7-8K all the time. STi's are listed for $13-16K quite often too.
Yeah. I was looking around Craig's List for some WRXs. I tried to steer away from STi's mainly because of the price range they go for. Either way, I'm currently unemployed... And it really sucks because it makes it just that much farther for me to get a WRX. Hahah. I was just doing a few self portraits when I was out one night. llolollo That sounds more like it. Hahah.
superdoughboy needs to get some dough to get the wrx =P welcome to the community. ill probably see you at some meets
lllololo Yeah. And thanks. Hahah. I may come to the charity dinner at Northpoint so maybe I'll see you there. If not, some other time. Oh. Hahah. And also. If you guys are ever driving around in the Alpharetta/Norcross/Duluth/Suwanee area, I'll probably be the only Sonata you'll ever see/hear that has Trance playing pretty loudly.
