Hi name is Phil Live in Senoia (small town south OTP) Male, 35. yes I wave at other Scoobs. Got a 2011 WRX hatch (WR Blue) some time ago - back in 2011. I appreciate all cars, have a 1968 mustang as well with a built stroker V8 motor for weekend thrills, I like to do stuff myself so I built that engine. I do still photography in my spare time and have been doing that for several years, portraits and weddings for money but cars for fun. Portable lighting, rig shots all the way to events and video. thats my side job though, 9-5 I am an engineer (mechanical design engineer specializing in engine performance) The WRX is my daily, so I didn't buy it to mod it or show off or anything, but then I got talking to Steve Pulzone and ended up with a catless DP and a tune. I was super happy with that tune, and some friends and I who have been blogging on car related stuff for a few years decided to start a youtube channel with the WRX tune as episode 1. Lots more car related content coming but also some follow up with a 2010 Sti in the works and some small cheap mods for around $50 or less. I also put some flapatax mudflaps on since I drive some gravel and dirt on occasion. Then I added the interior LED bulbs from superbrightLED.com because my daughter likes to read while we are parked and uses the dome light a lot. Having a blast with the car and going to try some rallycross in July (middle GA SCCA has their first rallycross event near milledgeville) Potential future modifications I am thinking about: Tint - looking at the high end (legal) tint but not sure if its worth it. Tires (OEM tires are about done) thinking about the direzza Zii's Shocks - thinking about Koni adjustables inside the stock strut tubes.
