Well I have been dinking around quite a bit waiting for the Sti to sell (which it finally did) so the real fun could begin. Here is the new motor and transmission for the cobra. (ac cobra replica for the guys that don't remember) The motor is a 351w stroked out to a 408 with all forged internals and it will be fuel injected. It was built by www.keithcraft.com out of arkansas. They say the motor should put out about 550hp to the crank. Look at the port work they did TKO 600 tranny. Hope all you guys are doing well. Dan
Sick man! Looks like that oil pan will hold 12,000 quarts, LOL! How much should the complete car weigh when it is finished??
That should be a lot of fun, I got to see a lot of them at Roebling as I was lapping them. Mind you only two of them were making anywhere near that power. You can stuff a lot of tire under those beast should be fun. Matt
Who was it Alex? Anyone I know? BTW Dan, you are making me want to build a Dayonta replica with a 427 side oiler in it......*drool*
Sent ya a pm about my father in law...he wants to come see it to try to make his mind up between that one and the FFR kit.
lol yeah FFR is very good at their marketing i will give them that. I think of ffr as a good low to middle end kit. Here is a good thread on others opinions on the ffr good and bad http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69615&highlight=ffr+recommend Dan
