Hey I don't know if any has heard about this yet but this is crazy. This is going to be a new 18 turn 4.5 miles 8 track layout with a FAA air port and all so a signature 18 hole golf course and wait 120 houses in the community starting at $600,000. The location is hush hush but word has it it's around Statesboro, GA. This is going to be targeted around F1 and Grand AM racing and much more... I doubt ALMS is going to go lol. Check it out at this link...

do you think they will only give track time to the residents in that community? how many of them would actually use it as opposed to so many outsiders that would want to come in and use the track?

That is awesome news! Hopefully I'll be back in the south around the time it's built or something.

Per the website, the track is for residents only and their guests. They will not rent the track out like Road Atlanta or Barber does so unless we know someone that lives there, we'll never get to drive on it. The homeowners fees are $1800 a month and that includes the track and golf course. Homes start at $675,000 and paddock/ hanger lots are $100,000 then you build to suit.

I need some lotto money fast! :p

Well it's all ready built I've seen track pix on a friends computer and I'll try to get them from him and post. I'm sure they will not say any thing about track time till they're open and all so I'm sure all they are worried about right now is getting people in the houses and that’s why they only post info for residents.

Nothing wrong with wishful thinking but I wouldn't count on any track time there. ;)

I down with that as long as you have some one to bail us out.
